Undead Siskel

Your awesome tagline

This is a breezy little movie that I could never take seriously.  The problem is, as with most indie flims, is that it wants to be taken very seriously.  The characters are enjoyable enough, although a lot of them seem to get left behind by the script and never seem to come full circle.  All of the performaces are good but nothing really special.  The comedy while funny at times, is nothing more than sitcom humor which at its core isn’t funny without a laugh track.  And the whole movie is quite frustrating as the entire screenplay could be done in 30 minutes with just a few lines of dialog.  Instead they decide to drag it out and make you wait for that final big scene where everything will be revealed and solved in less than 10 minutes.  But the color palet is very beautiful and the problem that every character has is relatiable in one way or another which by the end had me caring what actually did happen to them.  The whole movie just counts on too many coincedences to be truly realistic.
