What a mess. I went through so many changes of emotions during this movie. At first I was very aggravated at how dumb everything in the movie seemed. From the desicions the characters make to the attempts at “jumpy” scares which don’t work at all. However, about halfway through, it seemed to not take itself seriously anymore (as it shouldn’t) and just seemed to be making fun of itself which I actually started to enjoy. The characters were so unbelievably ignorant and non of them seemed to last too long which moved the film along. But near the end, it actually tried to salvage some legit scares and try to redeem itself as a serious attempt at a horror flick. This angered me again at took away all its campiness that it had built up in the middle. Thank jesus that this movie ended before the hour and a half mark.
